History

2016

Just like 50 years ago, when we transported a DC3 engine for the first time, our customers can still rely on our valuable qualities: Flexibility, round-the-clock availability, reliability and personal service.

2008

Fischer Road Cargo BV was opened at Amsterdam Airport.

2005

In 2005, Fischer Road Cargo GmbH at Frankfurt Airport and Fischer Road Sp. z.o.o. opened at Warsaw Airport.

2002

Managing directors Markus Züllig and Balz Halbheer founded Fischer Road Cargo AG with the aim of entering the airfreight replacement service (RFS). Regular freight transports to Frankfurt, Brussels and Amsterdam were introduced.

1998

In 1998, his sole proprietorship became Fischer Transport AG.

1964

In 1964, Fischer Road Cargo began offering regular services on the Zurich-Basel-Zurich route.

1956

In 1956, Fischer Road Cargo traveled the Zurich-Basel-Zurich route for the first time, transporting luggage from passengers whose flights had been diverted to Basel due to fog at Zurich Airport.

1946

The success story of Fischer Road Cargo began back in 1946. With just one Saurer truck, Mr. Gottfried Fischer founded an independent business offering a wide range of transport services.
